How To Prepare for an 8 Week Challenge

This is the second time I’ve been crazy enough to sign up for an F45 8-week challenge and for those interested I thought I would share some of my top tips on how I prepare myself for the challenge.

  1. Get workout gear organized. Now this doesn’t need to be all P.E nation & Lululemon (although I definitely wouldn’t say no to that) Make sure you have a few key outfits that you can use during the challenge and have on hand while the others are being washed. They need to be squat proof, sweat proof and most of all comfortable.
  2. Hydrate! This is no joke people you will be aiming for 3L of water a day and you need a drink bottle that holds at least 1L of water. My personal fave is the Camelback Eddy 1L with the straw top –  it is LIFE.
  3. Get the hair under control! Crucial guys you can’t be working out with hairy legs and pits ok get that sorted. I’ve been using the Schick Intuition f.a.b razor and I love it because it is designed to safely shave in both directions, forward and backwards, without having to lift the razor for such an effortless and smooth shave. It’s absolutely perfect for your underarm & legs.
  4. Get your supplements in order. You need to have a great quality magnesium supplement to help your muscles recover but also magnesium is incredible for sleep. I sleep like a baby after I knock these back 30 minutes before I get into bed.
